Introducing the PURE & PLAYFUL Photo Competition! June 1st to August 31st

At Island Skalliwags our motto is PURE & PLAYFUL. 

PURE ingredients that keep your dogs PLAYFUL!     

We love dogs and are committed to making treats that provide nothing but health benefits. We love our planet and are dedicated to making ethical and humane decisions about our sourcing of ingredients and our choice of packaging. We celebrate our wonderful coastal environment, the diversity and playfulness of your dogs, and the pride we take in what we create for them! Our treats are take-along friendly and make adventures more fun for your canine companions! 

Introducing the PURE & PLAYFUL Photo Competition!

It is with our motto and values in mind that we invite you to take your Skalliwags treats on your next adventure and snap a photo of your furry friends living their best Pure & Playful lives with their favorite treats!

The prizes are awesome:

• 1st Place winner will receive an Island Skalliwags prize package valued at approximately $500CAD!! (prize package will be delivered in two $250 increments over two months)
• 2nd Place winner will receive an Island Skalliwags prize package valued at approximately $200CAD!!
• 3rd Place winner will receive an Island Skalliwags prize package valued at approximately $100CAD!!
• PURE & PLAYFUL winners will be any photos selected to be used in paid social media marketing, print material, or on our website. PURE & PLAYFUL winners will receive prize packages valued at approximately $50CAD each!!
• SKALLIWAGS winners will be any photos selected to be posted and shared on our social media platforms. Credit and a thank you shout-out will be given to the dog and/or owner's social media accounts on every post made.

The rules are simple:

1. Get outside and go on an adventure! Photos must be outside in nature, must show at least some of the surroundings, and your dogs must be safe and having fun. You should stay safe too, of course! Examples of adventure could be at the lake, in a forest, on a mountain, on a beach or a boat... be creative!
2. Take a photo of your dog enjoying the adventure with their Skalliwags treats. Photos must be high resolution and include a Skalliwags treat bag(s), your dog(s), and a beautiful background. You may be present in photos, but you should not be the focus!
3. Submit your best photos. Send us your full resolution entry photos by emailing them to skalliwags@outlook.com (do not submit the photos in comments, messages or posts on social media). 

There is no limit on entries so take your skalliwags on as many adventures as you can and send us the pics! 

Of course there must be fine print.. by submitting an entry you agree to the following:

-The Pure & Playful Photo Competition will run from June 1st to August 31st. All entries must be submitted directly to us by email. Photos posted on social media or in comments or messages on our pages will not be eligible for prizes (rule 3). 

-Although photos must include a Skalliwags treat bag, there is no purchase necessary - if you would like to enter the contest but do not wish to purchase treats, send us a message at skalliwags@outlook.com and we will mail you an empty bag to use in photos, at no cost to you. 

-Winners will be selected by Island Skalliwags based on how well they represent our Pure & Playful motto, how they meet all of the photo criteria rules, how the Skalliwags treat bag is represented, how the dog is positioned and how happy they are, and how well the adventure and background is displayed. 

-This competition is only open to Canadian residents. Entries from outside of Canada are welcome, and may be selected for use, but will not be eligible for value prizes. 

-By submitting photo entries to us you agree that all entries become the sole property of Island Skalliwags to be used at our discretion in accordance with the terms of this competition. Photo entries may be used for the following purposes by us, without further compensation, permission or notice; social media paid advertising, print media and print marketing, website and social media pages and posts, and on product packaging.
